This Top Choice Ranking of the SEC is a measure of each college's:
Graduation rate
% of students from the top 10% of their HS class
% of financial aid need provided
Out of state cost of attendance and
Admission rate.
Takeaway notes:
The top 3 are the same in both lists: Florida, Georgia, and Vanderbilt (the only private school in the conference) because they do well in most categories.
Vanderbilt drops to 3 because while it has great student achievement and financial aid stats, it has a high cost and the lowest acceptance rate (by far).
Missouri, Alabama, and Mississippi rank higher in our rankings because they do well, but not great, in all of our categories.
South Carolina and Auburn rank lower in our rankings because they weren't near the top of the rankings in any of our categories.
Now, which university in the SEC has the best athletics? That's a debate that I won't start here...
